1933-34 Ford Stainless Steel Gas Tanks

Tanks, Inc. has invested heavily in our own dies for stamping stainless steel tanks and we no longer produce the fabricated shells seen here. If you or your buddy are skilled at tig welding, you can have a top of the line fabricated stainless tank at great savings by completing the tanks yourself.

Each tank shell is made from heavy 16 gauge quality 304 Stainless Steei in a #2B finish. The tank bodies, including the top and bottom halves and the ends have been tig welded by a certified welder.

Each tank comes with a threaded stainless steel sender ring, a stainless steel  3/8"NPT  half-coupling for the pickup tube, a stainless steel 1/4" half-coupling for the rollover valve, a stainless steel threaded neck bung and a billet aluminum cap with an o-ring seal. 10 gauge stainless steel mounting brackets with slotted holes are also included... and illustrated welding instructions.

We have both 15 gallon and 17 gallon tanks. It is the buyer's responsibility to complete the welding process in a workmanlike manner and to fully test the tank for leaks. Finished tanks of this quality list for over $600.
